Why serve hamburger stroganoff with a side of French bread when it's so a lot more delicious served inside the French bread?

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons thyme
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 loaf French bread, insides hollowed out
  • 2 cups mozzarella
  • 3 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley

  • Preheat broiler to 350 degrees, and line a sheet dish with material paper.
  • In an enormous Dutch stove or skillet, heat olive oil over medium warmth. Saute mushrooms with one teaspoon salt and dark pepper. Include thyme. Cook mushrooms until brilliant, roughly 4 minutes. Eliminate from the dish and put it in a safe spot.
  • Include margarine, onions and garlic to the dish and saute 2 minutes. Cook ground meat over medium warmth until earthy colored, roughly 4 minutes.
  • Add flour and paprika to cover equitably.
  • Include hamburger stock, sharp cream and mustard. Blend all together and include mushrooms back in.
  • Round the emptied portion with stroganoff and top with mozzarella cheddar. Spot on the readied heating sheet, and prepare for 5 to 10 minutes until cheddar is brilliant and dissolved.
  • Top with parsley, cut and serve right away.
